Exhibiting at the New Artist Fair in the brilliantly creative area of Brick Lane was such a wonderful experience — and one I’ll always remember as a real milestone in my art journey.
Obviously, one of the highlights had to be the iconic salt beef bagel from the legendary Beigel Bagel (if you know, you know). But beyond the food, it was genuinely such a joy to get out there with my artwork and experience the buzz of a London art fair for the very first time.
I met so many incredibly talented artists over the course of the fair — many of whom I now happily call friends. Building those connections has given me a much-needed creative network within the industry, and that alone made the experience hugely valuable. I also received so much positive feedback on both my artwork and the stand as a whole, which was incredibly encouraging.
To top it all off, I made a few sales — something I never take for granted. I was also lucky enough to have lots of support from family and friends in London, who popped by to see me exhibiting at my first art fair. Sharing that experience with them, and soaking up the energy of the event together, made it even more special.
All in all, it was an exciting, confidence-boosting and inspiring experience — and one that’s left me feeling more motivated than ever to keep creating and showing my work.
