This mixed media abstract painting blends luxury, nostalgia and bold contemporary energy. Set against a glowing gold leaf background, it combines layered paintwork with striking collage details — including a Vogue-inspired teddy bear that adds both attitude and playful charm.

I really enjoyed creating this one. It’s built up slowly through layers of texture, expressive brushstrokes and carefully placed collage elements. The soft familiarity of the teddy bear contrasts beautifully with the raw, gestural paint marks and flashes of colour. Meanwhile, the gold leaf catches the light throughout the day, giving the piece warmth and a subtle sense of glamour.

Framing

Almost all of my originals are supplied with a lovingly handmade wooden black tray frame. If you would prefer to frame the piece yourself, or you want me to arrange a different frame, just get in touch.

My paintings are full of personality, colour and texture and have been created in a working studio. Because of this they will have paint splatters galore - don't expect perfection as perfection is overrated and isn't my style. But expect to be completely wow-ed.

Returns

Since 2020 I have been creating one of a kind, original artwork using acrylic and spray paints. My pieces are vibrant and full of joy. They look a million times better in real life than they do in person as they are full of textures and vibrant colours. If you are unhappy with your piece when you receive it, I am willing to accept returns if I receive the piece back with no damage, at your cost.
