Colourful Abstract Art – A Playful Mix of Colour and Texture

Bring a burst of colour and personality to your walls with this vibrant contemporary abstract painting by Jill Blakey.

Layers of playful pink, turquoise, lime green, lilac and neon orange come together against a softer, muted background, creating a wonderfully expressive mix of colour and texture. Bold brushstrokes, drips, splatters and graphic details give the painting its energy, while sweeping black lines weave through the composition, adding contrast and movement.

I love the way the bright colours interact with the softer pastel tones in this piece. There's a real sense of spontaneity to it, with unexpected details and layers that reveal themselves the longer you look.

Perfect for anyone who loves colourful contemporary abstract art, this original painting would bring a fresh pop of colour to a living room, bedroom, hallway or home office. Hang it on its own for a playful focal point or combine it with other artworks to create a vibrant gallery wall.

Full of character, movement and joyful colour, this is a little piece of artistic energy for your home.

Original artwork by Jill Blakey

My paintings are full of personality, colour and texture and have been created in a working studio. Because of this they will have paint splatters galore - don't expect perfection as perfection is overrated and isn't my style. But expect to be completely wow-ed.

Returns

Since 2020 I have been creating one of a kind, original artwork using acrylic and spray paints. My pieces are vibrant and full of joy. They look a million times better in real life than they do in person as they are full of textures and vibrant colours. If you are unhappy with your piece when you receive it, I am willing to accept returns if I receive the piece back with no damage, at your cost.
